Bio
Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, The University of Tokyo, in 1996, and obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the Graduate School of Economics, The University of Tokyo in 2000. Has served as a lecturer and an associate professor at the university’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, visiting research affiliate at Yale University, visiting professor at Seoul National University, visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and visiting professor at London School of Economics and Political Science.
