Bio
Graduated from the University of Tokyo with a BA in liberal arts and an MA in development studies from East Anglia University. While working as a program officer in the international grants program at the Toyota Foundation, she also works as a director of the NPO People for Rainwater, a director of the NPO Rain City Support, and a member of the Subcommittee on Evaluation of Rainwater Harvesting of the Architectural Institute of Japan. She also participates in case studies and dissemination of rainwater harvesting overseas. She is also a member of the Expert Committee on Water Circulation Policy of the Secretariat of the Water Circulation Policy Headquarters, Cabinet Secretariat (since September 2018), and a member of the Planning and Public Relations Subcommittee of the Green Infrastructure Public-Private Partnership Platform, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (since March 2020).
