Bio
MD, Ph.D. Specialized in obstetrics and gynecology (perinatal medicine and women's healthcare). Leading the collaboration and standardization of healthcare and lifestyle information across municipalities, Dr. Maki established SONAE Corporation (University Venture) in September 2020; appointed Architect of the Digital Rural Promotion Council of Kibichuo Town, Okayama Prefecture, an Innovative National Strategic Special Zone in April 2022.In February 2024, he was appointed as a Vice Chair of Initiative 2 (Regional Development) under J-PEAKs. With his clinical experience, expertise, achievements, and trial fields, he is involved in solutions utilizing new medical technology development such as AI diagnosis and monitoring (maternal and child health promotion, measures against isolation and loneliness), and is leading the effort to realize "a society where everyone can live prosperously even in a society with declining birthrate and aging population by transforming the medical system and lifestyle through the power of digital technology”.
