Historical Analysis ( –2021)
This program comprises two research projects. The first is Political and Diplomatic Review, which uses historical methodologies to analyze developments in Japanese foreign policy and international affairs from a modern-day vantage point. The second is Comparative Populism, which examines populist movements from both an international and historical perspective. In addition, we will continue to make a fuller array of research resources available online, primarily through book reviews of outstanding research publications and the construction of a database of relevant historical documents and data.
