Bio
Lui Yoshida is an associate professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo (UTokyo). He holds a Ph.D. in Science. He specializes in educational technology (active learning, online learning, and faculty development). After working as a project assistant professor at the College of Liberal Arts and Science and the Center for Research and Development of Higher Education at UTokyo, he has been in his current position since 2020. He and a student developed LearnWiz One, an online opinion exchange platform, which won one of the world's largest EdTech competitions, GESAwards 2021, in the R&D track. He co-founded a company, LearnWiz, Inc., with the student involved in its development.
